Rebuilding Together: Partner With Us

Coming soon, along with Spring, is one of the most exciting times of the year for Rebuilding Together.

Rebuilding Together Muscatine county, along with over 150 other affiliates,

will come together and make a difference in communities all across America.

We cannot do what we do without your help.

And as Frank says;

“It Just Needs Done”.

What WIll You Be When You Grow Up?

LG RTM Button

 When he isn’t at his “Real job”,

Frank Iliff spends his time and talents doing the thing he loves to do,

What he would like to do when he grows up;

Assisting those in need and making old people cry!

(Tears of joy of course!)

LG RTM Button

For several months,

He has been working with some folks in Cedar Rapids to help a budding non-profit there.

This non-profit will in turn,

Help those in their own neighborhoods who need a hand.

Not a hand out – But a hand up.

Yesterday’s event got some local television coverage –

Read about it here, and if you click the link,

You can see the actual news broadcast.

I wonder how many people he made cry this time?

National Rebuilding Together Day 2014

May 4, 2014

On Saturday April 26th, Rebuilding Together Muscatine County participated

in its eighth year of National Rebuilding Together Day builds.

The day came on cool, sunny and beautiful.

2014 RTM NRD 154

The volunteers joined with almost two hundred affiliates nation wide,

and came ready to make a difference in the lives of complete strangers.

              The only connection being that they are neighbors; other people living in the same town,

                                          needing the same thing that Rebuilding Together Muscatine County wishes to provide –

“A safe and healthy home for every individual”.

They came because

“It just needs done”.

2014 RTM NRD 150

 The day came not without surprises, both large and small,

but our House Captains and volunteers were up to the task!

Together, the homes of five Muscatine resident families were made

“dryer, safer, warmer” than they were when they came.

A great big Thank you goes out to all the fine volunteers who worked on these homes.

Thank you also to those who volunteered by;

Providing financing for us, feeding us, photographing us, showing up at our Trivia Night fundraiser, telling their friends and neighbors about us.

Your RTMC Board Thanks You!

None of what Rebuilding Together Muscatine County does, could be done without you!
